BASICS OF SELLING SEMINAR/CLASS

The "Basics Of Selling On eBay" seminar is six hours, and is accompanied by a 200 page workbook detailing further the information covered in the seminar. This class is a basic introduction to eBay and covers many topics including how to:

Research sold items.

Write an effective listing title.

Create a great item description.

Determine the best pricing strategy.

Identify safety and security issues.

Use PayPal to send and receive online payments.

Design the best practices for shipping items.

Source products to sell on eBay.

Take years off of the "learning curve" and avoid mistakes.

BEYOND THE BASICS SEMINAR/CLASS

The "Beyond the Basics" class, is held three or four times a year and is always held in Roseville Minnesota, at Midland Hills Country Club. It is highly recommended that students attend the "Basics of Selling" class prior to registering for the advanced class. The "Beyond the Basics" seminar covers:

Advanced selling and pricing strategies.

Developing keywords to drive traffic.

Defining goals and objectives for an eBay business.

Using tools to make selling on eBay easier.

Third party software to help maximize eBay sales.

Leveraging eBay sales into future profits.

Many techniques and advanced strategies that will take an eBay business to the next level of profitability.

GIVINGWORKS SEMINAR FOR NONPROFITS

The "eBay GivingWorks" seminar, will be held Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Roseville Minnesota, at Midland Hills Country Club. It is highly recommended that attendees register in advance for the GivingWorks seminar to assure space, printed materials, and lunch reservations. The "eBay GivingWorks" seminar covers:

Registering your Nonprofit with eBay.

INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION

For anyone interested in improving specific eBay selling results or developing an eBay business, individualized instruction may be very effective. Individualized Training can be customized to address the following:

Refining an eBay strategy for a specific product or line.

Creating an effective eBay integation plan for an existing business.

Institute specific software applications to automate eBay listings.

Developing a statistical analysis program to build better item titles.

Sourcing products to build offerings and synergism within your inventory.

Any other specific problems, questions or issues necessary.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Registration and payment for all "Basics of Selling" seminars are handled by the sponsor of that specific event. The sponsor may be a School District, Civic Organization, Business, Nonprofit Group, or other entity. The sponsor sets the student tuition cost for their seminar. The sponsor also handles all issues regarding the schedule, date, registration, payment, venue setup and equipment rental, for their local event. To find the sponsor's contact information for an upcomming seminar, click on the EVENTS tab to the left side of this page. Look at "Details" under the seminar location and date that works best for you. Visit the web address or call the phone number listed in order to contact the sponsor and sign up for that event.

The tuition fee includes 5-6 hours of classroom instruction, and includes email support after the class to help answer your questions. Workbooks are optional but run $15 in addition to the tuition fee, and are paid to the instructor upon arrival by check or cash.

TUITION FEES

The rate for each "Basics" seminar is set by the Sponsor of the event and will vary from $40-$80.
The tuition for the "Beyond the Basics" Advanced Seller seminar in Roseville is $99.95 and includes one workbook and lunch. This class is sponsored by Joel Karsten, and he will handle all registration and payment for the Advanced class ONLY.
The tuition for the "eBay GivingWorks" seminar in Roseville is $115 if registered by August 15th, and includes one workbook, lunch, and post-class support. This class is sponsored by Joel Karsten, and he will handle all registration and payment for the GivingWorks seminar directly.
Individual Instruction (for up to three people) with a minimum of two hours is $150, and $70/hr after the first two hour session. The fee is payable immediately at the conclusion of the training session.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
